Mary Rose Portsmouth Poster – Portsmouth Travel Poster
This poster was inspired by a friend of mine who works in the Mary Rose museum in Portsmouth’s historic dockyard.
The Mary Rose is a warship of the English Tudor navy of King Henry VIII. After serving for 33 years in several wars against France, Scotland she saw her last action on 19 July 1545. While leading the attack on the galleys of a French invasion fleet, she sank in the Solent, the straits north of the Isle of Wight.

About the Travel Posters series
Firstly, I love travelling and seeing new places and landmarks. I also like to keep a little keepsake like a fridge magnet or postcard of the places I’ve visited. This inspired me to start designing my own take on local and worldwide landmarks. Above all, I want to evoke memories of the places you’ve visited with my wide collection of travel prints.
